Trans-tibial Solutions – Locking Suspension Systems

1-Day course demonstrating range of Iceross locking liner applications with 200 and 600 series locking systems.

Full prosthesis is constructed as a demonstration with patient model using the Icecast Anatomy pressure casting system. Measurement, casting, modification, alignment, fitting, and troubleshooting topics are covered in conjunction with review of Flex-Foot fitting techniques.

1-Day course demonstrating range of Seal-In liner applications (HSM and X5) with 551 expulsion valve.

Full prosthesis is constructed as a demonstration with patient model using hand casting. Measurement, casting, modification, alignment, fitting and troubleshooting topics are covered in conjunction with review of Flex-Foot fitting techniques.

Advanced Trans-femoral Socket Design – Ischial & Ischial-Ramal Containment

2-Day course for demonstration or 5-Day course hands-on training.

Learn detailed evaluation, measurement, casting, modification, alignment, and fitting techniques for ischial containment and ischial ramal containment socket designs. Fittings are completed using TF Seal-In liners (HSM and X5), 552 valves, Mauch or Total Knee, and Flex-Foot.

Modular Socket System (MSS)

1-Day course demonstrating the applications of Modular Socket System (MSS).

A complete prosthesis is fabricated using the direct lamination method for MSS. Fitting is completed using 200, 600, and 500 series locks in conjunction with locking and cushion liner systems. Össur sleeve suspension is also demonstrated in conjunction with cushion liner and expulsion valve. A complete review of Flex-Foot fitting techniques is also included.

TT &TF Gait Re-education and Physiotherapy

This special course features Kathy Howells, a very experienced physiotherapist in the area of amputee rehabilitation.

She is joined by a trans-tibial and trans-femoral patient model during this one-day course. She reviews through presentation and demonstration the important practical training techniques to proper amputee rehabilitation.
