The new Össur Asia Clinical Training Center and Faculty is located within the Össur Asia regional head office in Shanghai, China. It was established and finalized in the beginning of 2009.

The new Össur headquarter for Asia offers specialized technical and clinical training programs as well as direct customer service and support. It also provides support to distribution partners in China, Japan, Korea and other Asian markets. Seminars and training courses can be organized in-house as well as in other locations, i.e. P&O facilities, hospitals or schools, within China or in other Asian countries in cooperation with Össur Asia Pacific.

A range of hands-on training programs are offered at the Össur Asia facility in Shanghai, at the request of local O&P facilities and distribution partners.

The location of the new Össur Asia Clinical Training Center is conveniently located about 30 minutes from downtown Shanghai, directly on a subway line and beside the middle ring road of Shanghai. The two airports are easy reachable, Hongqiao Airport in only 20 minutes and Pu Dong International airport in about 60 minutes.

The Clinical Training Center includes a large seminar room for up to 50 people, equipped with state of the art multimedia equipment. Beside the seminar room you find a big gait training room with stairs and ramp for static and dynamic alignment, gait training activities and demonstrations. A large workshop, equipped with newest tools and machinery allows for cast rectification and thermoplastic and laminate fabrication of prosthesis.
