All Össur instructors are prosthetic practitioners with clinical experience in fitting Össur products, presenting information on fitting and sizing techniques, alignment requirements, and trouble-shooting suggestions. They contribute to research and development of Össur products and provide objective insight into system features, benefits, and future product enhancements.
Scott Elliott C.P. Clinical Education Manager - Clinical & Technical Services - Asia
Scott received his bachelor degree in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University in 1995. He received his certificate in clinical prosthetics from Northwestern University in 1997. Completion of a certificate program for medical device product development was achieved through the University of California, Irvine in 2005. He completed technical training, residency and practiced as a certified prosthetist at Abilities Unlimited Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Scott joined Össur in 2001 working as a technical specialist and project manager with R&D and product management teams at Össur HF and Össur North America. Scott is currently in charge of managing the activities of the OAP training center and conducting clinical and technical education in Asian countries including Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singappore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hongkong and India. Cara Negri C.P. Clinical Director - Clinical & Technical Services - Asia
Cara graduated from Kettering University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering concentrated in Bioengineering. In 2003, Cara completed the Prosthetics Certificate Program at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. During her fourteen years in the O&P profession, Cara has completed several research projects, lectured to the O&P community, and provided Össur product expertise throughout the world.
