Walk for Waves

What is Walk for Waves

The Walk for Waves is a coastal walk over an 11 day period to raise awareness and funding to develop Adaptive Surfing in Australia, Equipment for Adaptive surfers, and helping the Australian Adaptive Surf team achieve their goals at the World Championships again this year in Southern California.

Jade "Red" Wheatley, a double amputee and well-recognised surfer, will lead each day of the walk.

How can I get involved?

The Walk for Waves will take place over an 11 day period, including eleven 15 km walks along the coast and participants can choose to walk during day or overnight sectors.

Unlimited day walkers are welcome, however overnight participants will be limited to 20 walkers.
