Amputee Surf Day 2018

On Saturday 5th May 2018, Össur hosted their fourth consecutive Amputee Surf Day at Nobbys Beach, Newcastle. It was a beautiful sunny day with perfect wave conditions for amputees of all ages and surfing abilities to come together and take part in a free surfing lesson with Newcastle Surf School.

Thank you to all who attended Amputee Surf Day, with special mention to Australian Adaptive Surfer and Össur Ambassador Jade 'Red' Wheatley for his leadership in organising another successful Surf Day.

Congratulations to Frank Toa who was the recipient of a brand new Össur custom-shaped surfboard.

Thank you to all who attended this year's Surf Day, and we can't wait to see you all again next year! Check out below the photos on the day.
