COVID-19 Update from Össur Australia



Dear Valued Customers,


I write to update you on what we are doing at Össur to manage the COVID-19 situation and ensure our ongoing services to you.


We have made suitable arrangements to protect the safety of our staff whilst maintaining our full level of customer service and product supply. Please continue to follow usual procedures for accessing our support services and placing orders. We have extensive inventory in our Melbourne warehouse, and our current delivery timelines remain unaffected.


Due to the unpredictability of the current situation, customers may wish to consider ordering extra contingency stock in the event that supply chains do become effected in the future. If you wish to arrange this, please liaise with your local sales representative, or speak to one of our customer service teams. We will of course do everything possible to avoid this scenario and leverage Össur’s global resources to assist.


To minimise the potential for transmission of the virus we are revising our sales activities and will reduce the number of face to face appointments with no public events or visits to public hospitals. Instead we shall be implementing innovative new approaches to maintain our customer support and educate you regarding our products. Look out for an announcement on this in the coming weeks.
