In partnership with Disabled Winter Sports Australia (DWA), we are pleased to announce Mobility Clinic on the Snow.

This 3-day event will give amputee attendees the opportunity to learn the basics of skiing and snowboarding from the team at Disabled Winter Sports Australia and Joany Badenhorst, Össur Ambassador and Paralympic Snowboarder.

All interested attendees are welcome to complete the application form. Please note however, limited spaces are available and due to the nature of the event and volunteer availability, each application will be reviewed for eligibility and notified if their application is successful. We cannot guarantee all applicants will be successful for the event at this stage.

What is the Mobility Clinic on the Snow?

The Mobility Clinic is a 3-day event designed for amputees to learn basic skills such as skiing, snowboarding and sit skiing.

How much will it cost to attend?

The Mobility Clinic on the Snow is free from registration fees. All attending participants will receive:

  • 2 Days - Lift Pass
  • Ski/Board Rental and Adaptive Equipment
  • Adaptive Snowsport Guide Support
  • National Parks Entry
  • 2 Days - Ski/Snowboarding Lessons
  • Catering

All participants are required to pay for their own transportation and accommodation, see below for more information.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

All transport to Thredbo/Jindabyne is to be organised by each individual participant. There is plenty of parking available at Thredbo.

What are my accommodation options while attending the Mobility Clinic on the Snow?

All attending participants are required to organise their own accommodation during the Clinic. We recommend Discovery Holiday Park – Jindabyne.
